Le Konpa, musique et danse haïtienne née dans les années 50, connaît un essor remarquable à l’international.
Pratiqué depuis près de 70 ans, il s’est enrichi et adapté tout en conservant une identité haïtienne forte.

Être professeur de Konpa ne s’improvise pas !
Enseigner cette danse, c’est non seulement transmettre une technique, mais aussi porter une histoire, une culture et le respect d’un peuple.

Avec cette formation professionnelle orchestrée par Dady & Manuela, vous acquerrez :

• Les bases théoriques et techniques indispensables
• Une méthodologie d’enseignement adaptée
• Une compréhension globale de l’histoire, de la culture et des styles du Konpa.

PROGRAMME

• Samedi 18 octobre : 9h30–12h30 / 13h30–18h30
• Dimanche 19 octobre : 9h–12h / 13h–17h

• Les pas et mouvements, du plus simple au plus complexe
• Le leading et le following
• Connexion et musicalité
• La philosophie, les enjeux culturels et artistiques
• Les techniques et la pédagogie pour enseigner et challenger vos élèves
• Lien avec les danses traditionnelles haïtiennes

À l’issue de la formation : un certificat attestera de vos aptitudes à enseigner le Konpa (niveau initiation à débutant).

Being a Konpa teacher can’t be improvised!
Teaching Konpa means not only transmitting a technique, but also carrying a history, a culture and the respect of a whole people.

With this professional training by Dady & Manuela, you will gain:

• The essential theoretical and technical knowledge,
• an adapted teaching methodology,
• a deep understanding of the history, culture and styles of Konpa.

PROGRAM

• Saturday, October 18: 9:30am–12:30 / 1:30–6:30pm
• Sunday, October 19: 9am–12 / 1–5pm

Topics covered:

• The history of Konpa: dance, music, evolutions
• Steps and movements, from basic to complex
• Leading and following in Konpa
• Connection and musicality
• The philosophy, cultural and artistic issues
• Techniques and pedagogy to manage, teach and challenge your students
• Ties with Haitian traditional dances

At the end of the course: you will receive a certificate confirming your ability to teach Konpa (initiation to beginner level).
