Ask for a deposit online and collect the rest on site
The buyer pays part of the price online to book (often a table) and pays you the rest on site.
- Open the price or pack page, Acompte en ligne (Online deposit) section.
- Choose Acompte en % (Deposit in %, between 1 and 99 %) or Acompte fixe (Fixed deposit, in euros per unit sold), then save. Paiement complet en ligne (Full payment online) returns to the normal behaviour.
- On the event day, when the customer pays you the rest, record it: Solde encaissé (Balance collected) button on Billetterie › Tables vendues (Ticketing › Tables sold) (cash or card on another terminal, with a reference if you wish), or from the scanning app at the entrance.
- The order is then fully paid and the tickets change from « en attente de règlement » (awaiting payment) to valid.
Special cases
When does the deposit not apply?
It only applies if the order contains this price alone, with no paid extra. Otherwise the buyer pays everything online. If the calculated deposit reaches the total price, it is also a full payment.
What about the Bizouk commission?
It is always included in the deposit paid online: the deposit cannot be smaller than the commission. No commission is taken on the rest collected on site.
How does the rest appear in my sales statement?
Bizouk does not collect the rest and does not pay it out to you: you collect it yourself. It appears as a sale collected by you, on the same line as the deposit.
What does the person at the entrance see if the rest is not paid?
When scanned, the ticket is shown as pending with the amount still to pay. A person in charge (administrator, editor or director) can record the payment from the app. See collect the balance at the entrance.
