Organization, billing account, event: what is the difference?

The organization groups your events, the billing account holds your legal information and bank details: once for the whole organization.

Three levels not to be confused: the organization (your entity or your brand), its billing account (its legal and banking information) and your events, all grouped in the organization.

Special cases

What is the organization?
It is your entity or your brand: association, company, collective. All your events are grouped in it, with your customers, your statistics and your team. A new event is created in the existing organization.
What is the billing account?
It is the legal and banking information of the organization: company name, SIRET or RNA, legal representative, bank details. It is used to pay you the money from sales. It is filled in only once and applies to all the organization's events.
When should I create a new organization?
Only if the event is run by another legal entity: another company, another association, another SIRET, another bank account. Not for a new date, a new venue or a new party of the same entity: otherwise your sales would be separated and a complete payout file would have to be done again.
Who can edit the organization and its billing account?
Only the administrators of the organization. Having a role on an event (editor, for example) does not give access to the billing account or the IBAN.
I created a duplicate organization by mistake?
If you type the name of an organization you already have, the creation sends you to it. For a real duplicate already created, contact support from your account.
