Prepare a big on-sale: queue and checkout flow

When many people buy at the same time, Bizouk puts buyers in a queue, without ever selling more places than are left.

The queue starts by itself: you have nothing to turn on. Buyers are served in order of arrival and see their position and the estimated wait.

  1. Open Billetterie › Parcours d'achat (Ticketing › Checkout flow) to set up your sale.
  2. Noms des participants (Attendee names): « Avant le paiement » (Before payment: the buyer enters the name for each ticket before paying) or « Après le paiement » (After payment: tickets take the buyer's name and each name can be changed afterwards). After payment speeds up purchasing during a big sale.
  3. Proposer les autres tarifs pendant l'attente (Offer other prices while waiting): people waiting on a sold-out or high-demand price see your other public prices that still have places and can switch to them in one tap.
  4. For an opening at a fixed time, turn on the Salle d'attente avant l'ouverture de la vente (Waiting room before the sale opens): people wait on a page with a countdown, the order of entry is drawn at random at opening, then they are let in at the chosen rate (people per minute).
  5. During the sale, the event dashboard shows the File d'attente en direct (Live queue) block: people waiting, served per minute, estimated wait and the status of each price.

Special cases

Does the waiting room always apply?
Only if no other public price is already on sale. It is based on the next opening of a public price, shown on the settings page.
Which prices are never offered as a replacement?
Private prices, partner prices, prices reserved for members, packs, tables and numbered seats.
What happens to baskets abandoned during the rush?
Under high demand, the places in an abandoned basket are released within a few minutes instead of staying blocked.
