Sell numbered seats with a seating plan
Associate the venue's plan with each date, link each seat category to its prices, then check consistency before opening the sale.
- Open Billetterie › Plan de salle (sièges) (Ticketing › Seating plan, seats). For each date, choose your venue's plan from the list then click Associer (Associate). You can also reuse a copy of the plan already set on another date of the event.
- With Modifier les catégories de sièges (Edit seat categories) then Gérer les tarifs liés (Manage linked prices), link each category (e.g. « Orchestre », « Balcon ») to the prices that sell it. A price without a category cannot be sold on a seat.
- In Billetterie › Tarifs (Ticketing › Prices), under each price, its category badge compares its capacity with the number of places (e.g. « jauge 276 · 280 places », capacity 276 · 280 places) and turns into an alert if they differ.
- Before opening: Plus › Imprimer en PDF (More › Print to PDF) with Inclure les sièges numérotés (Include numbered seats). The document checks the plan: places without a category, category without a price, capacity different from the number of places, more tickets on sale than free seats.
- Make a BAT (proof) of your prices: the ticket shows a simulated seat, as the buyer will receive it.
Special cases
Is the entrance door shown on the ticket?
Yes, when the plan specifies a door for the seats: it is printed on the ticket next to the seat and shown when scanned. A door changed in the plan after the sale is not copied onto tickets already issued.
What happens if more tickets remain on sale than free seats?
The last buyers would be stopped when choosing their seat. Lower the price's capacity or free up seats on the plan.
