Cancelling your event
Announce the cancellation, notify buyers and have them refunded: the payout stays blocked until this is settled.
The takings of a cancelled event go back to the buyers. Under our terms of sale, Bizouk refunds on your behalf as long as the takings are still with us.
- From the event dashboard, open the ⋯ menu then Annuler l'évènement (Cancel the event). If there are no orders and no recent baskets, this menu offers to delete the event instead.
- Choose the cancellation reason and write the message sent by email to buyers.
- Tick Annuler les commandes (Cancel the orders) to refund all of the event's orders (irreversible action), and choose whether the event stays visible on the site.
- Confirm with Annuler l'évènement (Cancel the event): the status changes to « Annulé » (Cancelled) and buyers are notified. If you ticked the refund option, pending refund requests are also accepted.
Special cases
The « Annuler l'évènement » (Cancel the event) option does not appear.
It is only offered if the event has not started, no payout has been made to you yet and less than €1,500 remains to be paid to you. Otherwise, announce the cancellation to the back-office assistant or write to us: our team cancels the event and refunds the buyers.
I announce the cancellation to the assistant.
The payout is blocked immediately. The event is only shown as « Annulé » (Cancelled) after your confirmation, and refunds are made by our team.
Part of the money has already been paid to me.
Bizouk only refunds buyers from the takings still in its possession (general terms of sale, articles 9.7 and 9.9). If they have already been paid to you, refunding buyers depends on their return: write to us.
I would rather offer another date or a credit.
In Ventes › Annulation ou report (Sales › Cancellation or postponement), choose the ticket types concerned, what you offer (refund, transfer to another of your events, or both) and a deadline, activate the offer then send the choice email. Ventes › Avoirs (Sales › Credits) also lets you offer a credit to a buyer.
