Glossary

Bizouk terms

Sales statement, session, credit, billing account, private price: the words of the site and back office explained simply.

Billing account (compte de facturation)
The information that allows us to pay you the money from your sales: legal identity of the organization, IBAN and supporting documents. It belongs to an organization. Also called the « payout file » (dossier de versement). Complete your billing account to receive your sales
Cashless (cashless)
Cash-free payment on site: a wristband, a card or a QR code holds a top-up balance, debited at the bar. Cashless: top up and get my balance back
Check-in list (liste de contrôle)
Set of tickets checked at the same entrance (a door, a VIP area). A scan link can be limited to certain lists. Scan tickets at the entrance
Commission (commission)
Share taken by Bizouk on each online sale. It appears on the sales statement. Reading your sales statement
Credit note (avoir)
Credit granted by an organizer, often after a cancellation, to be used at checkout on their events. It cannot be used with another organizer. Use my credits
Deposit (acompte)
Part of the price paid online when booking a table or a pack, when the organizer offers it. The rest is paid on site or through a payment link; the tickets stay pending until everything is paid. Table: deposit paid, rest to pay on site
Invitation (invitation)
Free ticket offered by the organizer, sent by email, SMS or WhatsApp. Its tracking shows whether it was accepted and used. Send and track invitations
Item (article)
Product sold with the order but without a QR code: a drink, an option, an object. There is nothing to download, it is linked to the order. I didn't receive my tickets
Organization administrator (administrateur de l'organisation)
Member of an organization who manages its members, its payout file (identity, IBAN, documents) and its customer base. It is not an event role. Team: who sees what?
Organization (organisation)
Your organization (association, company, artist) as buyers see it. An event always belongs to an organization; only create a new one for a different SIRET or a different bank account. Organization, billing account, event: what is the difference?
Pack (pack)
Bundled offer, often a table with bottles, put together at the time of purchase. Book a table or a bottle pack
Payout (versement)
Bank transfer of the money from your sales to your bank account, once the event is over and your file is approved. When do you receive the money from your sales?
Private ticket type (tarif privé)
Ticket type that does not appear on the public page and can only be bought through its reserved link or its QR code. Sell a private price by link, to partners or to members
Promo code (code promo)
Code created by an organizer to lower the price of certain ticket types, for a given period and a given number of uses. Use a promo code
Proof (BAT)
« Bon à tirer » (print proof): a PDF preview of the ticket as the buyer will receive it, with a simulated seat if the venue has numbered seating. Create and organize my prices
Queue (file d'attente)
Waiting room activated when many people buy at the same time: everyone goes through in order of arrival and their seats are held during payment. I'm in a queue
Resale (revente)
A buyer putting their seat back on sale, at the price they paid, when the organizer has enabled it. The buyer is refunded when the seat is bought again. Resell my spot
Sales statement (reddition)
Sales summary of an event: sales, fees, commission, refunds, deducted services and the amount to be paid to you. Reading your sales statement
Scanner (contrôleur)
Event role that only allows scanning tickets. It is the role offered by default when you add someone. Team: who sees what?
Service fees (frais de service)
Fees added to the ticket price, paid by the buyer or covered by the organizer depending on the ticket type setting. They are shown before payment. Service fees: paid by the buyer or by the organizer?
Session (séance)
One date and one venue of an event. An event can have several sessions (several dates, a tour). Add or edit dates and venues
Ticket (billet)
Admission pass with a unique QR code, in the holder's name. Only one entry is accepted at the door. Download my tickets or add them to my Wallet
Ticket type (tarif)
What the buyer chooses: a price, a number of seats, a sales period. Ticket types are arranged in groups. Create and organize my prices
Transfer (transfert)
Free handover of a ticket to another person, who receives it in their name with the same QR code. Transfer a ticket to a friend or relative
Two-factor authentication (double authentification)
One-time code sent by WhatsApp or by email after the password, to sign in from an unknown device. Mandatory for organizers. Why am I asked for a code when I log in?
Waiting list (liste d'attente)
List of people to notify when a seat becomes available on a sold-out event, for example through resale. Sign up for a waiting list
